Users may access, download, and use materials for personal, academic, institutional, or non-commercial research purposes, provided proper attribution is given to DKI. Cost-Recovery, Contributions, and Non-Profit Nature
Certain DKI materials, publications, training kits, or operational resources may be provided on a cost-recovery basis to support printing, logistics, distribution, and implementation costs in Nepal and other partner countries. These contributions are strictly for sustainability of programs and do not constitute commercial activity or profit generation. DKI does not operate for profit, and all financial contributions are directed toward program implementation and organizational sustainability.
User Conduct and Responsibilities
Users agree to act responsibly, ethically, and lawfully when engaging with DKI platforms or programs. Users must not:
Misuse, misrepresent, or distort DKI content or programs

Any violation may result in suspension of access, termination of participation, or legal action where necessary.
Collaboration and Implementation Framework
DKI operates through a multi-layer collaboration model. It works with international organizations, multilateral agencies, and development partners for funding, technical support, and strategic program design. For implementation, DKI collaborates with local NGOs, community-based organizations, and institutional partners in Nepal and abroad. In specific program areas such as sister city cooperation, election observation missions, and DKI Sportsphere initiatives, DKI may directly implement activities or coordinate through designated institutional partners depending on program requirements. In other areas such as research to policy and program research, NGO capacity building, disaster response, and related programs, implementation is primarily carried out through local implementing partners.
External Links and Third-Party Services
DKI platforms may include references or links to external websites, organizations, or digital services. These are provided for informational and collaborative purposes only. DKI does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of third-party platforms.
Data, Privacy, and Digital Responsibility
Use of DKI platforms is also governed by the DKI Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Users acknowledge that limited data may be collected for operational, analytical, and programmatic purposes. DKI is committed to protecting user data in accordance with applicable standards in Nepal and international collaboration frameworks.
Limitation of Liability
While DKI strives to ensure accuracy, relevance, and reliability of all information, it does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability of its platforms or content. DKI shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or operational losses arising from the use of its materials, services, or programs.
No Warranty
All DKI content and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. DKI makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding suitability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Governance, Compliance, and International Operations
As DKI operates in Nepal and internationally, users acknowledge that programs may be subject to multiple regulatory, institutional, and donor compliance frameworks. DKI ensures that all operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, partner agreements, and ethical standards.
