Dipendra Kandel Initiative
  • Technocratic Diplomacy

The globalized reality we live in requires us to engage in active learning and adapting to change. Therefore, all our work is conducted with an international mindset and a technocratic approach.

In the long run, we wish to increase international cooperation and technocratic practices across the public and private sector.

Research

In our research, we examine all things politics in Nepal and the region. We also conduct an annual survey of risks and opportunities in the region, in which our researchers identify areas where the current sets of rules, institutions and mechanisms for peaceful regional cooperation are falling short.

Policy research by Dipendra Kandel Initiative recognized scholars is the foundation of our mission and work. Our credibility and reputation for nonpartisan, objective, peer-reviewed research, and diversity of views form the basis of all our research and commentary.

At Dipendra Kandel Initiative, analysis and advocacy are based on the research undertaken by our diverse range of scholars and interns. All our research is published and made public. We do not engage in lobbying or private consulting. Individual authors are responsible for their own views, but the Organization subjects their writing to rigorous standards and quality control. There is no official DKI position on any issue.
