At the Dipendra Kandel Initiative, we have realized that infrastructure plays a key role when it comes to development. There is a direct relation between infrastructure and economic & social well-being parameters faring.
Our organization seeks to develop local and regional hubs by assisting on the infrastructural assets through the construction technology transference.
The way such initiative is performed is by putting in contact local, regional, and national stakeholders who have construction technology stockpiles in order to build up multilateral relations and fostering sharing.
By sharing, we allocate resources properly, optimizing infrastructure construction and technological spillovers which can have a positive impact on know-how. Besides the short-run gains, there are long-run positive externalities arising from these initiatives, such as capability building.
Finally, the relations built from technology sharing can lead to further cooperation, beneficial for parties involved beyond the infrastructural gains, such as city twinning.
